Personalised Beige Knitted Baby Blanket

Designed & Embroidered in Australia

This personalised knitted baby blanket was designed by One Little Day in Australia in 2018 and 2019, built around a simple but considered idea: that a knitted blanket could carry a baby’s name without damaging the knit itself.

At the time, parents looking for a personalised knitted blanket with custom name embroidery had very few options. The defining challenge was finding a way to embroider directly onto a knitted surface without pulling or distorting the surrounding stitches. The solution was a 7cm band running across the top of the blanket, woven with a deliberately tighter stitch density that creates a stable surface for embroidery. This was not a happy accident. It required many samples and adjustments before the design was right.

The result set a new benchmark for personalised baby gifts in Australia. Every blanket we sell today features the exact same design we originally created for our customers.

Imitations

Since its launch, this personalised knitted baby blanket design has been widely copied by competitors both within Australia and beyond. The imitations are noticeably inferior in quality, thinner in weight and lacking the knit density of the original, in some cases sold at a higher price. We have heard from customers who purchased copies without realising they were not getting the real thing. We continue to focus on designing original, quality products for the babies and families who deserve nothing less.

Signature Gift Packaging

The One Little Day gift box is our own design, built to present every order at its best from the moment it arrives. Each blanket sits folded inside, finished with a ribbon bow and ready to hand over without any extra wrapping.

This product was designed and embroidered in Australia; blanket made in China.

Breathable Fabric

The lightweight 100% cotton weave naturally regulates baby’s body temperature, keeping babies comfortable without overheating in the cot, bassinette or pram.

To protect the delicate embroidery and maintain the soft texture of your cotton knit:

Washing Instructions

Pop the blanket into a gentle warm machine wash on a delicate cycle using mild detergent.

Drying Instructions

Line dry in the shade. To help retain its original shape and prevent stretching, reshape the blanket gently while damp and lay it across the line. Avoid direct harsh sunlight for extended periods.

Important: Do not tumble dry.  Tumble drying with high heat can cause natural cotton fibers to shrink and distort the delicate knitted texture.
